Does your dog or cat need to see a Chiropractor? I’ve always used Holistic medicine and Chiropractic care as an adjunct when the traditional veterinary treatments my dogs received weren’t doing everything I hoped. This has typically happened when we were facing life-threatening illnesses. My German shepherd, Bear, went when he was diagnosed with cancer, Sophie was treated when her hind legs initially became weak, Shadow was seen for her arthritis and Cody went because of his Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
One of the reasons I believe in alternative medicine is that I’ve seen it benefit the health of my pets. It gave my family four great months with Bear after he was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma. I also like the idea of treating the whole body, as they do with Chiropractic care. And I know how much better I feel when I’ve had an adjustment to my bad back and neck.
Because of these reasons I think it’s important to explain more about Chiropractic care and when it can be helpful.
