As 2014 comes to an end many of us are excited about the resolutions we plan to make for the New Year. It made me wonder which New Year’s Resolutions my dogs and cats would pick for 2015. I don’t think it would be to lose 5lbs. or to be more organized. Here are the Pet New Year’s Resolutions I picture my pets choosing to make their year a good one.
Eat more bones. Bailey only joined my family at Christmas, but already she is a big fan of bones stuffed with peanut butter. (Secretly I’m hoping another Pet New Year’s Resolution is to become friends with the cats.)
Take more naps. Spike and Tiger love to take a nap in front of a window where they can sunbathe at the same time.
Go for more car rides. Cody gets depressed and mopes around the house if we don’t take at least one ride a day. Car rides was an activity all of my dogs could do together when Sophie became paralyzed.
Go for more walks. Whether your pets walk on their own or need assistance from a dog wheelchair or cart, getting outside everyday is an important part of their well-being.
Touch the hand of the one you love. Sport spent many hours sitting next to Sophie when she was sick. Hope you liked my crews choices for their Pet New Year’s Resolutions.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
