Disclosure: Cody and Bailey are participating in DOGSTERS Snow Cups (Ice Cream Style) Treats For Dogs Blogger Outreach Program. The dogs were sent samples to taste test and review, but we are not being compensated for our participation. DOGSTERS asked my dogs and Lessons From A Paralyzed Dog for our honest testimonial about their product.
I’m a big fan of serving dessert to my family while we’re watching television at night. It doesn’t have to be a large piece of cake or pie; we enjoy a small dish of something sweet, like ice cream, to bring a busy day to an end. And since I’ve always had dogs in my life, they’ve been included in this evening ritual as well. Years ago I served them a dog biscuit, but at some point their dessert evolved into a frozen plastic cup filled with two kinds of baby food. I don’t remember when this happened or why I started the habit, but I’ve been making these frozen treats so long the grocery store sends me coupons for baby food and the clerks at checkout know the jars of food are for my pets.
I’m explaining this so it won’t feel like a big leap when I tell you that Cody and Bailey were thrilled to test and review DOGSTERS Snow Cups, Ice Cream Style Treats. They consider themselves experts in the field of frozen dog treats.
DOGSTERS Snow Cups come in two interesting flavors: Nutly® Peanut Butter and Cheese Flavor or Minte Kissably Fresh Flavor. I liked that the treats are all natural, low in fat, low in calories and made in the USA. I appreciated that Snow Cups are not made with dairy products which can upset Cody’s sensitive stomach.
The Taste Test
The dogs tried Snow Cups on two different nights. On the first evening I handed each of them a single serving cup of the Peanut Butter and Cheese flavor. They grabbed their cups, took them to the exact spot in the living room where they eat their homemade frozen dessert and thoroughly enjoyed licking and biting at the treat until it was gone.
On the second evening I wondered what Cody and Bailey would think of the Mintee flavored frozen treat. I’ve never seen them eat anything mint flavored before. I handed each dog their cup and they loved it just as much as the one from the previous night. Bailey also used her empty cup as a chew toy when she was done.
DOGSTERS wants your dog to be able to try their yummy treats so Lessons From A Paralyzed Dog is giving away a VIP coupon for a free box of Snow Cups to two lucky winners. In addition the winners will each receive a DOGSTERS branded portable dog bowl.
DOGSTERS Snow Cups can be found alongside the frozen novelties in groceries stores across the US.
