This Wordless Wednesday we’re talking about taking your dog for an Autumn jog.
The cooler temperature always brings out the jogger in me or at least the wannabe version. If you’re a jogging pet mom, I think autumn is the perfect time to grab your dog stroller and take your best friend for a run. The spirit hit me hard this morning and I broke into a slow run with Cody and Bailey. One year-old Bailey got right in step with me, but it was a little too much for Cody who just turned 12 years-old. When we got home I decided to pull out our old dog stroller to check its condition.
Have you ever used a dog stroller? Ours was great to have on hand for Sophie when she wasn’t able to pull herself in her wheelchair.
Strollers are handy for little dogs who get tired on long jogs or dogs that are recovering from knee or back surgeries.
Strollers are helpful for large senior dogs with arthritis and dogs of any size who are paralyzed. For Sophie it was a way to get her in the fresh air every day.
What’s your experience with a doggie stroller? Did your dog give it a paw up or a paw down vote?
