I was thrilled when Neo-Paws™ International joined Lessons From A Paralyzed Dog as a sponsor at the beginning of the year. Neo-Paws are one of my all-time favorite products for specially-abled dogs and if you’re a regular reader of this blog you’ve probably seen stories about my love of their dog boots for paralyzed pups and what a big help they were to Sophie and me.
Neo-Paws™ Intl. is generously sponsoring a Giveaway for one lucky dog, just in time for Valentine’s Day! The company is awarding a set of any of their dog boots/shoes to one of our readers.
The winner can choose from the Neo-Paws EZ-Paws™, Neoprene Orthopaedic High Performance™ Outdoor Shoes/Boots, Neoprene™ Regular Performance™ Shoes/Boots, Original High Performance™ Orthopaedic Shoes/Boots or the Summer Indoor & Outdoor™ Cool Performance Orthopaedic Shoes.
Roanna Sabeh-Azar founded Neo-Paws™ in 1994 after she noticed her own dogs’ paws had scrapes when they accompanied her on a bike ride. Her desire to keep their paws safe from the elements led to a career designing and manufacturing a wide variety of breathable protective shoes and winter boots that are beneficial for healthy active dogs and dogs with mobility problems.
I was introduced to the product in 2008 by the holistic veterinarian who treated Sophie when her hind legs first showed signs of weakness. We bought a pair of Neo-Paws™ boots in a bright red color. They did a great job protecting her paws from rubbing on the ground and I loved how they gave support to her weak legs.
Even after Sophie became completely paralyzed we used our Neo-Paws™ to protect Sophie’s legs from scraping on the floor as she moved around.
