This Tuesday’s Tails, Lessons From A Paralyzed Dog would like to introduce you to Dash and his buddy, Patron. Every Tuesday we join with other bloggers to spread the word about homeless pets that are waiting in shelters and rescue groups for a family who will ‘opt to adopt’ them.
“I was rescued from a home with a few too many cats. It was pretty crowded conditions, but I managed. I’m a real sweetheart and love to cuddle. I’m currently watching out for my best buddy, Patron who is a little younger than me. He looks up to me, so I hope we get adopted together.”
“I’m a shy guy who likes to take things slow when I meet new people. I was a feral kitten when my rescuers found me. I was scared so they had to trap me, but now that I’m 9 months-old I’m a lot braver. I love to play with Dash in our foster home and he’s taught me that cuddling with people can be great fun. I hope someone will adopt us together.”
If you would like to meet Dash or Patron, please contact the HCWS Cat Coordinator at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Heaven Can Wait Animal Society was started by five animal lovers who wanted to save the “last day” cats and dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized in the Las Vegas city shelter. The group soon turned their focus to preventing unwanted litters from being born and opened the first non-profit spay and neuter clinic in the state. Fourteen years later they have fixed more than 93,000 animals and cut the euthanasia rate in half while also placing more than 8,000 homeless pets with new families.
Lessons From A Paralyzed Dog joins Dogs N Pawz in their Blog Hop every Tuesday to help abandoned dogs and cats find their forever home. If you would like me to highlight a homeless pet, please leave a message on our Contact Us page. And if you are part of a rescue group, I encourage you to take part in this weekly Blog Hop.
